Dear KGS Members,

Piling has been used very widely and the rapid rate of development of commercial buildings and infrastructures require intensive use of pilings. Like all new development,
there has been considerable time between the development of improved design method and their implementation in practice. This process can be accelerated by sharing ideas and
insemination of the knowledge. Pile 2017, in an international conference to response the development by presenting “Advancement of Pile Technology and Pile Case Histories”.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, Indonesia under the auspices of Indonesian Geotechnical Society (HATTI), International Society of Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering (ISSMGE), Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Goverment of Indonesia, Deep Foundation Institute (DFI), and The International Association of Foundation Drilling (ADSC - IAFD).
