Deep Foundation Technologies for Infrastructure Development in India 2015

Event Description
Deep Foundations Institute of India (DFI India) will host a two-day conference on Deep Foundation Technologies for Infrastructure Development in India 2015. The conference follows the successful DFI- India conferences every year from 2011 to 2014 and will focus on technology developments and project case histories highlighting excellent execution of the following topics:
Pile Foundations (including driven piles such driven cast in-situ piles, pre-cast and marine piles; drilled piles such as land and marine bored piles, continuous flight auger (CFA) piles, micropiles, etc.)
Deep Excavation Support (slurry/diaphragm walls, sheet piles, contiguous and secant pile walls, etc.)
Ground Improvement (deep mixing, jet grouting, densification and reinforcement, mass stabilisation, etc.)

All authors of accepted abstracts are encouraged to develop their presentation into a technical paper for consideration by the technical committee for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings Volume.
The conference will be of particular interest to contractors, developers, local and government representatives, designers, consultants and educators involved in major infrastructure projects. Equipment,material and instrumentation suppliers, contractors and other vendors will present their products and services in the Exhibit Hall. The conference will be preceded by a one-day workshop on Piled-Raft System scheduled for September 24, 2015. Complete details of the event as plans progress can be found at www.dfi.org.

Abstract Submission Parameters and Requirements
To be considered to present at the conference, please submit a 300-word abstract describing the proposed presentation content. Authors of accepted abstracts will be required to adhere to the following schedule for submissions:

Abstracts Due : June 05, 2015
Notification to Speakers : June 26, 2015
Participation Confirmation by Speakers : July 17, 2015
Draft PowerPoint Presentation & Technical Paper/
Presentation Release Form Due/Biography : August 17, 2015
Final PowerPoint Presentation Due : September 4, 2015
