Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The Southeast Asian Conferences have always been a very popular event well attended by all from all continents. I personally enjoyed being involved in the 5th and 9th one from AIT in Bangkok. Now it has become more dominant with the involvement of AGSSEA comprising: Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Thailand. Geotechnical Engineering activities are at its peak in these countries; additionally AGSSEA is also having great interest in Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines, and Bhutan.

In addition; Japan, Korea, India, and most Asian countries participate in the SEAGC-AGSSEAC.

Dr. Ooi Teik Aun is the Co-Chairman of the Conference while the Chairman is Dr. Chan Sin Fatt. Please encourage all to submit abstracts for this Conference and give your strong support by participating in this important event.
